I’ve always had an interest in type and letter forms. I remember growing up in a railroad town, watching the trains go by, and being fascinated with the graffiti on the cars. I loved the different personalities and styles each artist could create with just letters. Later that fascination would yield itself in digital design and my first attempt at creating a full-fledged typeface called Buoy.
